Hovvdy brings their distinct blend of twangy indie rock, pop-country, and emotional acoustic ballads to the 9:30 Club on Monday, November 2, 2026. The duo of Will Taylor and Charlie Martin has evolved from their understated slowcore origins in Austin, Texas into seasoned veterans of the indie scene, with their music processing life’s most intense emotions across five studio albums. Their latest album _Big World_ finds the band exploring more enigmatic subjects, trading overt emotional directness for a reflection on their place in the world. Opening the evening is singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson, whose new album _Paradise Pop. 10_ weaves autobiographical fiction with sharp storytelling and warm, earthy vocals, supported by collaborators including Phoebe Bridgers and Marshall Vore.
