JUNIOR BROWN

JUNIOR BROWN brings his one-of-a-kind blend of country, rock, blues, Hawaiian, bluegrass, and Western swing to The Birchmere Music Hall on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Known for his impossibly distinctive double-necked “Guit-Steel” guitar (a standard guitar and steel guitar fused into one instrument), his dry wit, and a songwriting style that ranges from playful to dead serious, Brown has earned a reputation as an American original. After an early stint in the Austin music scene and a record deal with Curb Records in 1993, he has gathered Grammy nominations, a CMA award for “My Wife Thinks You’re Dead,” and appearances on Letterman, Conan, Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits, SpongeBob, Better Call Saul, and many more. His live show is a must-see, featuring his wife Tanya Rae and the band, and showcases his virtuosic guitar work and sharp, original songs.
