NMAAHC Kids at the National Air & Space Museum
NMAAHC Kids joins the National Air and Space Museum’s Flights of Fancy Story Time for a space-themed program about spiders, science, and African American cultural traditions. Children will hear Suse MacDonald’s *Space Spinners*, a humorous story about two tiny spiders that stow away on a space shuttle, read by a National Air and Space Museum educator. The program also explores the experience of space travel and real spider experiments conducted in space, followed by an activity with NMAAHC Kids educators about how spiders inspired the creation of kente cloth, a special African fabric.
