Early Show! Barbara + Marco feat. Johanna Moffitt | Dunia & Aram

Barbara + Marco, featuring Johanna Moffitt, present an early-show set built around an atmospheric blend of electronica, trip hop, and downtempo. Their sound combines trippy guitar, ethereal vocals, and 1970s-style synthesizers. The evening also features Dunia & Aram, whose indie ska and soul draws on jazz, punk, and reggae.

Barbara Gogan is an Irish-born singer and guitarist best known for her work with the English post-punk new wave band The Passions. She has lived and worked in London, New York, and Paris, collaborated with Hector Zazou, and worked with Russian electronics composer Sasha Pantykin after traveling in Russia during the early 1990s. She now lives in rural Pennsylvania and serves as resident composer for the acrobatic dance troupe Lava. Marco Dianese is an Italian-born, New York–based producer, visual artist, DJ, promoter, and musician whose projects include Spooky and the Bear and Bear Make Noise. He also hosts the radio program *Spring Street Insomnia* on Radio Sherwood.

Dunia & Aram have collaborated for decades across ska, reggae, soul, and related styles. Their history includes Dunia’s seminal ska-punk band Agent 99, the reggae-soul project Dubistry, and the pioneering neo-soul group Brave New Girl, along with collaborations with Grammy winners and other notable artists.
