Keith Grimes & Dean Dalton

Keith Grimes and Dean Dalton bring an evening of soulful guitar, deep-pocket bass, and roots-oriented grooves to Hank Dietle’s Tavern. Their set draws from blues, jazz, soul, Motown, R&B, rock, and classic American music, highlighting the chemistry between two veteran Washington-area musicians.

Grimes is known for his five-year stint as lead guitarist with the Eva Cassidy Band, as well as performances with Chuck Brown, Bill Kirchen, The Nighthawks, and other prominent regional artists. Dalton has supported acclaimed jazz and blues projects with Anthony “Swamp Dog” Clark, Linwood Taylor, Bad Influence, Liz Springer, Elliott Levine, Tom Kitchen, and Karl Stoll & The Danger Zone.
