Snooze brings its upbeat, heavy math-rock sound from Chicago to Pie Shop, joined by Washington, D.C. progressive band A Shrewdness of Apes and Right Chipper. Snooze’s intricate music has been likened to Meshuggah played in a major key. The band’s debut full-length, *Familiaris*, is a carefully composed concept album about the life of a beloved family dog.
