Bayonne - The ‘Filters’ Tour
Bayonne, the Austin-based experimental avant-pop and electronic project led by Roger Sellers, brings the “Filters” Tour to Union Stage. The performance centers on music from Sellers’s fourth and most immersive album, *Filters*, which combines carefully shaped melodies, shimmering synthesizers, field recordings, piano, percussion, and richly layered atmospheric textures.
The album reflects Sellers’s movement through grief following the loss of his father, tracing a gradual shift toward acceptance while maintaining an energetic yet dreamlike musical character. It follows his 2023 release *Temporary Time*, whose melancholy pop sensibility serves as a foundation for this newer work.
