Make+Take: Screenprinted Wooden Ornaments
Make+Take: Screenprinted Wooden Ornaments is a beginner-friendly evening workshop at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. Participants will learn the basics of screenprinting with pre-prepared seasonal-design screens, first practicing on paper and then creating their own collection of wooden ornaments with colorful inks. No previous experience is required, and registration covers all materials.
The workshop is led by Tia Wilson, a Germantown, Maryland-based artist, illustrator, and comic maker. Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2024 and recently completed a studio internship at Pyramid. Their work explores culture, experience, and identity through painting, installation, printmaking, and comics, and they have exhibited in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia area and Rochester, New York.
