Tiana Major9 – November Scorpio Tour
Tiana Major9, a London-born singer-songwriter from Newham, brings her November Scorpio Tour to Union Stage on October 22, 2026, for a free concert. Raised on her Jamaican roots and shaped early by D'Angelo, Stevie Wonder, and Amy Winehouse, she began singing in church at age five. Her stage name comes from the major 9th chord, the jazz harmony that gives her R&B, soul, and jazz fusion its warm, distinctive character.
The show is part of a tour supporting her debut album, November Scorpio, an independently released Valentine’s-weekend project that arrived on February 13, 2026. The album includes songs such as “Alone,” “Money,” “Shook One” (a reimagining of Mobb Deep’s “Shook Ones Pt II”), and “Always” featuring Yebba. Earlier in her career, Major9 gained attention with her 2019 debut EP Rehearsal @ NINE and her feature on Stormzy’s “Rainfall.” She broke through with “Collide” alongside EARTHGANG, a Grammy-nominated track from the Queen & Slim soundtrack that spent 26 weeks on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. She has since collaborated with Lucky Daye, Babyface, Bryson Tiller, Smino, Kelis, and Unknown T, toured alongside Adele and Jazmine Sullivan, and surpassed 200 million streams worldwide. In spring 2026, she returned to NPR’s Tiny Desk with Keyon Harrold for a six-song set drawn from the album.
