Microcinema: PERVERTS
Pink Eye Pictures presents *PERVERTS*, a provocative microcinema program of abrasive, erotic, gory, and experimental short films and video art from the queer underground. The screening explores trans representation, gender dysphoria and transformation, fetish, desire, bodily autonomy, violence, revenge, and psychosexual obsession through fiction, documentary-style experimentation, music video, and digital video art.
A virtual question-and-answer session with curator David Leo and participating filmmakers will follow the screening.

Program: *A Trans with a Movie Camera* (Frances Arpaia, 2018) uses a non-narrative cine-essay to collaboratively consider the possibilities of trans feminine representation on film. *I Can Be Killed* (Horatio Allen, 2025) follows Lev, a trans college student driven to extreme measures by his fear of dying in a body he finds repulsive. *Fetal* (Todd Verow, 2007) is a music video for Eager Meat’s song “Fetal,” featuring Philly Abe as a solo foot fetishist.
Additional films: *Baby Bits* (Sloane Stone, 2025) centers on Betty, who is secretly undergoing a medical abortion when her former lover Jamie arrives, unaware that he is the father of the fetus. *like an analog* (David Leo, 2022) presents a sexually charged performance involving a microphone and Nine Inch Nails. *Birth of the Hive Queen* (Tempest Creation, 2025) follows Amina, a trans escort who gives birth through her anus. *Leather Communion* (Maren Moreno, 2023) is a digital work dedicated to Moreno’s girlfriend and inspired by leather culture.
Additional films, continued: *A Pentagram For the Narrative* (Charli Christine Marker, 2026) adapts an unpublished screenplay by Hollis Frampton while examining perceptions of trans women experiencing intense dysphoria. *Leech and Piranha* (Frolic and Frot, 2025) offers a hypnotic, gender-transforming fantasy in which viewers are invited to change their gender or become prey within a predatory hierarchy. *Revenge Angels* (Maren Moreno, 2019) follows Fern after a brutal assault as she becomes the glamorous demon XXXtina FuckPrincess and travels into the desert with two hedonistic companions to pursue bloody revenge.
Final films: *2 Gurls 1 Jug* (Frances Arpaia, 2021) invokes a well-known line from *The Rocky Horror Picture Show* and carries an emetophobia trigger warning. *God Hates a Coward* (David Leo, 2026) depicts a young transgender man entering a psychosexual spiral after encountering the object of his desire, an aging punk vocalist.
