Six Foot Blonde brings its “Spit It Out Tour” to Union Stage with a soulful, high-energy blend of indie pop and rock. The Chicago-based six-piece is known for powerhouse vocals, lush instrumentation, infectious pop melodies, raw rock drive, slide guitar, synth, and three-part harmonies.

The band formed in Bloomington, Indiana, during the pandemic in 2020 as an Indiana University cover band before developing into a tightly arranged original act. Frontwoman Julia Rusyniak pairs soaring vocals and personal lyrics with the group’s distinctive indie-rock and soul-pop sound. Their explosive performances have helped them build a growing following across the Midwest and beyond.
