Nervous Verbs / Crowd Scene

Nervous Verbs presents an intimate evening of emotionally resonant music led by singer-songwriter Mike Montgomery. The performance draws on his work with the post-rock trio Ampline, his decade-plus collaboration with Kelley Deal in R. Ring, and his production work at Candyland Recording Studio. The set will feature material from *Moments of Riot*, whose restrained sound reflects experiences of hospitals and bereavement while ultimately reaching toward hope, as well as songs from Nervous Verbs’ 2025 debut, *Pony Coughing*.

Crowd Scene joins the bill with a post-psychedelic, pre-rock approach built around asking “what if?” After a demanding two-date European tour, the group returns to perform for its hometown audience.
