The New Yorker’s “Political Scene Podcast” Live
The New Yorker’s “Political Scene” podcast comes to Sixth & I for a live recording of its Washington Roundtable. Susan B. Glasser, Jane Mayer, and Evan Osnos will analyze the 2026 midterm elections, consider the political questions that follow, and take questions from the audience.
The podcast’s regular format brings together the three veteran New Yorker writers to interpret the week’s news and connect current events to broader issues in American politics. Glasser writes the “Letter from Trump’s Washington” column and has led publications including Politico and Foreign Policy. Mayer is the author of Dark Money and received the 2025 George Polk Award for her reporting on Pete Hegseth. Osnos has been a New Yorker staff writer since 2008 and wrote The Haves and the Have-Yachts and Wildland: The Making of America’s Fury.
