The Hula Monsters bring an island-flavored roots-music party to Hank Dietle’s Tavern, blending Hawaiian swing with Western swing, rockabilly, honky-tonk country, rhythm and blues, country Latin, jazz, and rock and roll. Their energetic, danceable sound features twangy guitar, steel-soaked melodies, and a distinctive Hawaiian accent.

Founded in 1988, the award-winning five-piece has developed a lively repertoire that includes swing, blues, country, jazz, rockabilly, and Hawaiian standards. The band is known for seasoned musicianship and an original live style rooted in both island music and American roots traditions.
