The Hula Monsters bring an island-flavored roots-music party to Hank Dietle’s Tavern, blending Hawaiian swing with Western swing, rockabilly, honky-tonk country, rhythm and blues, country Latin, and rock and roll. The award-winning five-piece, founded in 1988, is known for its distinctive Hawaiian accent, energetic performances, twangy guitar, steel-infused melodies, hot swing, and danceable grooves.

The lineup features Lynn Kasdorf, Gary Ferguson, Mark Noone, Moe Nelson, and Ben Holmes. Their repertoire and sound draw on swing, blues, country, jazz, rockabilly, and Hawaiian standards.
