Weatherday - Hornet Disaster Tour 2026

Weatherday brings the Hornet Disaster Tour 2026 to Union Stage in support of *Hornet Disaster*, the follow-up to the project’s 2019 debut *Come in* and spiritual successor to the 2022 collaboration *Weatherglow*. Led by mononymous songwriter Sputnik, the album expands Weatherday’s urgent, noisy, erratic, and playful sound into a more expansive work shaped by new approaches to songwriting and production.

The record centers on a hornet-inspired overarching narrative and features 19 songs. Its restless, maximalist style includes the caustic title track, the springy emo anthem “Angel,” the downtempo and Knife-influenced “Heartbeats,” the Swedish-language song “Pulka,” renaissance flute on “Green Tea Seaweed Sea,” and the folktronica experiments of “Ripped Apart By Hands.”
