Munford & Cohen

Munford & Cohen bring a groove-focused “fresh classic rock” performance to Hank Dietle’s Tavern. The duo reworks familiar rock songs with guitar, bass, two vocal parts, loops, delay effects, and programmed drums, creating a layered sound that remains more intimate and stripped down than a full-band show.

The set is led by Munford, who sang the million-selling psychedelic-rock hit “Incense and Peppermints” with Strawberry Alarm Clock during the Summer of Love. With Cohen, he is expected to perform reinterpretations of songs associated with artists including the Rolling Stones, the Meters, and the Ronettes, along with original material and additional surprises.
