Grief Group
Grief Group is a monthly peer support gathering for people in their 20s and 30s who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Recognizing that grief can feel painfully isolating even within a supportive community, this event creates a dedicated space for participants to come together, share their experiences, and process their grief with others who truly understand. The gathering is not led by a trained therapist or mental health professional; it is intended solely as a peer support circle and is not a substitute for therapy or other professional services. Attendance is free, but advance registration is required.
When: Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 6:30 pm ET.
Venue: Sixth & I Historic Synagogue.
Price: Free; RSVP required.
RSVP: To register, interested participants must fill out an interest form available on the Sixth & I website. Note that completing the form does not guarantee placement in a group.
Note: These peer support groups are not led by a therapist or mental health professional. They are designed for mutual support and are not a replacement for therapy or other professional mental health services.
