June McDoom

June McDoom headlines an evening of folk music shaped by dub rhythms, layered harmonies, and a strong sense of Jamaican musical heritage. Her debut album, *Follow the Light*, grew from the sounds of her Jamaican family home in Florida, where her father maintained multiple sound systems and her grandfather, mento musician Colin Smith, introduced her to guitar and the roots of Jamaica’s acoustic traditions. Created with her longtime partner Evan Wright, the album combines folk vocals and guitar with dub-informed rhythm, drawing on influences ranging from Dionne Warwick and Minnie Riperton to Pentangle and Cocteau Twins.

Lutalo supports with visceral, electric folk from their debut album *The Academy*. The Vermont multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer uses impressionistic, self-reflective writing to transform memories of adolescence into vulnerable folk and rock compositions, delivered with a distinctive baritone and vivid lyrical detail.
