Alex Edelman: What Are You Going to Do

Wed, Nov 4, 2026 – Thu, Nov 5, 2026at 8:00 PM
5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda, MD
Price not available
Featuring: Alex Edelman

Alex Edelman brings his sharp, story-driven comedy to Strathmore with “What Are You Going to Do,” a solo show that continues his signature blending of stand-up and deeply narrative storytelling. Edelman is widely regarded as one of the most critically praised comedians of his generation, and this performance follows the enormous success of his previous solo show, *Just for Us*, which ran for more than 500 performances worldwide, including acclaimed runs off-Broadway and on-Broadway. That show was later released as an HBO original comedy special in April 2024 and helped earn Edelman a place on the Time 100 list, a Tony Award, and an Emmy Award for Best Writing for a Variety Special. He has also appeared in Jerry Seinfeld’s Netflix directorial debut, *Unfrosted*, and is set to star in Peacock’s *The Paper*, a Greg Daniels-helmed spiritual successor to *The Office*, on which he also serves as a consulting producer and writer.

The engagement at Strathmore consists of two performances, added after an initial show sold strongly, and is presented in the Music Center as part of the Strathmore Presents series.
