Capital Harvest on the Plaza (CHoP) returns for the 2026 season as a weekly outdoor market held on Woodrow Wilson Plaza in downtown Washington, D.C. Every Wednesday from late spring through the end of October, the plaza transforms into a lively marketplace where local farmers, food purveyors, and artisans gather to offer fresh produce, prepared foods, baked goods, and handmade crafts. The market is free to attend and encourages visitors to shop, snack, and enjoy the community atmosphere in the heart of the city. Beyond simple commerce, CHoP aims to foster a sense of community, stimulate economic development, and improve quality of life by providing locally and sustainably sourced foods and products.
