October Festival

Germantown October Fest celebrates the area’s vibrant and diverse community with a full day of activities. The event features a parade, beer garden, live music, DJ entertainment, a free carnival, an artisans market and business fair, food trucks, local restaurant specials, and community performances.

The celebration also includes a spooky dance party and costume contest, a business expo, and an opportunity to RSVP for a chance to win a prize pack valued at more than $250. The event is organized by the Germantown Town Center in partnership with the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce, with funding from the county executive and council.

Showtimes: Spooky Dance Party and Costume Contest at 11 AM; parade at 11:30 AM; Seneca Valley Marching Band and Seneca Poms from 12–12:30 PM; Ukrainian Dancers from 12:45–1:15 PM; German Hirschjaeger Dancers from 1:30–2 PM; Lola Dancers from 2:15–2:45 PM; Nappy Roots from 3–4 PM; and German Hirschjaeger Dancers from 4:15–4:45 PM.
