WATERCOLOR (FOR ALL LEVELS), WITH INSTRUCTOR VIAN BORCHERT

This six-session watercolor course, led by artist and instructor Vian Borchert, welcomes participants of all experience levels. Students will practice both traditional and experimental watercolor techniques, with particular emphasis on color theory and composition. Lessons use varied subject matter, including landscapes and still lifes, as well as studies of master artists’ work. Participants may use images supplied by the instructor or bring their own references, and will receive guidance in developing a pleasing finished artwork.

When: Tuesdays from September 22 through November 3, 2026. There is no class on October 27.

Showtimes: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Course: Watercolor instruction for all levels, covering traditional and experimental techniques, color theory, composition, landscapes, still lifes, and master-artist studies.

Tickets: Arts Club members pay $200; non-members pay $250. Payment is required when registering, and the fee cannot be charged to a member account.

Discount: Register by August 31 to receive a 5% discount.

Run time: Two hours per session; payment covers all six sessions.

Materials: A supply list will be emailed before the first class.
