Echo Arts Festival is Glen Echo Park’s annual fall celebration of visual and performing arts. The fifth annual festival brings together live music, dance, workshops, artist demonstrations, art sales, hands-on art and craft activities, open studios, galleries, and other opportunities to explore the arts. Featured performers include two-time GRAMMY Award winners Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer.

The festival is designed for an art-filled day throughout the Park, with food available from food trucks and Praline Café. Activities will take place rain or shine, including in covered outdoor areas. Additional performance information will be announced closer to the festival.

When: Sunday, September 27, 2026

Showtimes: The festival runs from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Washington Conservatory of Music will hold an open house from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., including a free family-friendly Music and Movement Class from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the WCM Recital Room. The Popcorn Gallery’s closing reception is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

RSVP: An RSVP is preferred but not required. Separate RSVP links are provided for select activities.

Performers and activities: The program includes live music, dance performances and workshops, hands-on art activities, artist demonstrations, workshops, art sales, and open studios and galleries. The featured musical performers include Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer. Detailed performance information is forthcoming.

Resident visual arts organizations: Glen Echo Pottery, Sculpture Studio, Stone Tower Studio, SilverWorks, Photoworks, Art Glass Center, Glassworks, and Yellow Barn Studio & Gallery will participate with demonstrations, art sales, studios, or gallery activities.

Resident performing arts organizations: Washington Conservatory of Music will offer its open house and Music and Movement Class. Adventure Theatre MTC and the Puppet Co. are also listed among the participating resident performing arts organizations.

Galleries: The Popcorn Gallery will show its current exhibition and offer artwork for sale during a 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. closing reception. Stone Tower Gallery will also present its current exhibition with artwork for sale.

Food and beverages: Food trucks and Praline Café will be available, allowing visitors to stay throughout the festival.

Weather: The festival takes place rain or shine. Outdoor areas are covered.

Parking: Free parking is available in Glen Echo Park’s main parking lot at 5801 Oxford Road. Visitors are advised to search “Glen Echo Park Parking” in Google Maps for directions and consult the Park Map for additional information.

Suggested donation: A $10 donation is suggested, though admission to the festival is free. Contributions support free festivals and concerts and help preserve and maintain the Park’s historic buildings.
