Wordplay Wednesday

Wordplay Wednesday returns to Planet Word Museum on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, for an after-hours evening of wordplay and exploration. From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., all three floors of the museum open late, including the interactive “Unlock the Music” karaoke gallery and the playful “Joking Around” humor gallery. The event blends happy hour and game night: guests can wander the exhibits, take on word-based puzzles and games, and browse the Present Perfect gift shop. Complimentary treats are offered, and beer, wine, and soda are available for purchase from Immigrant Food. Tickets are on a pay-what-you-can basis from $5 to $25, and Planet Word members receive free admission for two. An optional add-on, Lexicon Lane, is a separate immersive puzzle experience on the museum’s third floor where participants decipher clues among themed shops and landmarks.
