Martha Graham Dance Company
The Martha Graham Dance Company returns to the Center for the Arts at George Mason University for a single performance as part of its landmark Graham100 tour, a multi-year celebration of the company’s centennial. Martha Graham, widely regarded as a pioneer of modern dance, transformed the art form with a technique and expressive language that continues to influence generations. This program honors a century of groundbreaking artistry by showcasing iconic masterworks alongside contemporary pieces inspired by Graham’s enduring legacy. The performance is appropriate for all ages and will be audio described. A pre-performance discussion begins one hour before the show.
