"In Search of Home"
“In Search of Home” is a Choral Arts concert examining displacement, refuge, identity, belonging, and human connection. The program combines full ensemble and chamber forces with staged performance elements, bringing historical and contemporary works into conversation around the human experience of finding—or seeking—a home.
The featured repertoire includes Leonard Bernstein’s *Chichester Psalms*; Caroline Shaw’s staged *To the Hands*; selections from Dietrich Buxtehude’s *Ad Manus*; Johannes Brahms’s *An die Heimat*; and Jeffrey Derus’s *Whoever You Are*. Performers include Artistic Director Marie Bucoy-Calavan, the Choral Arts Chamber Ensemble, the Choral Arts Symphonic Chorus, and the Choral Arts Orchestra.
