Pat Metheny
Pat Metheny brings the Side-Eye III+ Tour to The Music Center at Strathmore for an intimate jazz performance centered on collaboration and musical exchange. The project pairs Metheny’s distinctive guitar work with emerging artists, highlighting both his leadership and the next generation of jazz improvisers.
A major figure in modern jazz, Metheny has worked across solo guitar, small ensembles, electric and acoustic groups, orchestras, and experimental projects. His 1975 debut, *Bright Size Life*, helped reshape the sound of jazz guitar. He has received 20 Grammy Awards, earned three gold records, entered the *DownBeat* Hall of Fame in 2015, and was named an NEA Jazz Master in 2018.
