Dr Badar Khan Suri Benefit Show ft. Somebody's Daughter and Fetcher

This benefit concert supports the legal fund for Georgetown University professor and post-doctoral fellow Dr. Badar Khan Suri as he challenges what organizers describe as his illegal ICE abduction. The event features Baltimore alternative rock band Fetcher and DC punk trio Somebody’s Daughter, with proceeds from ticket sales donated directly to Dr. Suri’s GoFundMe.

Fetcher is a four-piece band whose sound combines influences from across its members’ musical backgrounds, with a funky, eclectic style compared to Foo Fighters, the Flaming Lips, and Jimmy Eat World. Somebody’s Daughter brings catchy synth-pop grooves, grunge textures, and high-energy punk to songs about the challenges and joys of trans womanhood. The group’s debut EP, *No Tricks !! Promise*, was released in July 2026.
