Soul Crackers
Soul Crackers bring a special seven-piece performance of Memphis and Motown soul to Hank Dietle’s Tavern. The DC-area dance-party band will revisit its 44-year catalog, including early songs that have not been performed in more than 20 years. Original keyboardist John Hurd is also scheduled to join the band as a guest for several songs.
For this performance, the lineup returns to a configuration similar to the band’s early years. The Too Much Sisters, Caz Gardiner and Anita King, will not perform because they are participating in the Women in Rock show.
