Sierra Hull, a seven-time International Bluegrass Music Association Mandolin Player of the Year and six-time Grammy nominee, brings her signature blend of bluegrass and Americana to the Birchmere. Known for her virtuosic mandolin work and compelling songwriting, Hull’s latest independent album *A Tip Toe High Wire* has earned four Grammy nominations and features collaborations with Béla Fleck, Tim O’Brien, and Aoife O’Donovan. Her career includes sharing stages with artists such as Alison Krauss, Eric Clapton, Sturgill Simpson, Slash, and Robert Randolph, as well as performances on NPR’s Tiny Desk and The Kelly Clarkson Show. Hull is also the first female artist to have a Gibson signature mandolin and a recipient of the Tennessee Governor’s Distinguished Arts Award.
