Alfredo Mojica Group brings a lively Latin dance experience to Bossa Bistro & Lounge, led by acclaimed percussionist and vocalist Alfredo Mojica. The evening features salsa, bachata, merengue, and more, with music designed to keep the dance floor moving.
Mojica, a cornerstone of the Washington, DC salsa community, was born in Central America and began performing at a young age. Over the course of his career, he has worked with artists and groups including Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto. He performs on timbales, congas, and bongos while singing salsa classics in his own expressive style, joined by a rotating roster of accomplished musicians.
