Keyboard Conversations® with Jeffrey Siegel: The Brahms I Love

Internationally acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Siegel presents another installment in his Keyboard Conversations® series, this time celebrating the music of Johannes Brahms. The evening combines performance with insightful commentary, guiding the audience through selected works including exuberant Hungarian Dances, charming Waltzes, the passionate B minor Rhapsody, and deeply personal Intermezzos. Siegel’s approach aims to strengthen the connection between composer and listener, and the concert concludes with a short audience Q&A session. The performance is appropriate for all ages and will be captioned. Before the show, a pre-performance “Young Artists Musicale” featuring piano students from the Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association will take place in the main lobby at 6 p.m.

Showtimes: 7 p.m. (prelude at 6 p.m.)

Tickets: $60, $52, $38; half-price for youth through Grade 12. A limited quantity of free tickets are available for George Mason University students, with distribution beginning two Tuesdays prior to the event. Subscribers who purchase all four Keyboard Conversations® performances save 20%.
