Mason Choirs Concert: Celtic Voices: A Choral Journey Through Ireland and Scotland

Celtic Voices presents an evening of choral music rooted in the traditions of Ireland and Scotland. The George Mason University Chorale and University Chamber Singers perform under the leadership of Dr. Lisa Billingham, with collaboration from Kevin Elam and Seán Heely. The program includes the Irish air “Wild Mountain Thyme,” the energetic “Dúlamán,” and works arranged by Michael McGlynn, whose settings of Irish folk songs and legends are influential in contemporary Celtic choral music.
