Fighting Shadows is a two-day exhibition that brings together a diverse group of Washington, DC–based artists to confront and resist the fear, doubt, and oppression that shadow the human experience. Running from Saturday, January 11 through Sunday, January 12, 2027, the show presents works in various media from over twenty artists, aiming to transform internal and external struggles into creative declarations of resilience. On Saturday evening, a live music performance begins at 8:30 pm, adding an auditory dimension to the visual displays.

When: The exhibition takes place on Saturday, January 11 and Sunday, January 12, 2027.

Showtimes: On Saturday, January 11, the exhibition is open from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. On Sunday, January 12, hours are from 12 pm to 3 pm.

Lineup: Participating artists include TJ Buttner, Amy Seago, Trei Ramsey, Madeleine Sargent, Maurice James Jr., Mike O'Brien, Rachel Wallach, Rick Gonzalez, Salvador Rubio, Death by Narwhals, Key Han Solo, C.S. Corbin, Chris Combs, Dragon's Pitchfork, Jaswant Pakki, Syd, Wonka, Whitney Caldwell, and Britnee Scott.

Live music: A live musical performance is scheduled for Saturday, January 11 at 8:30 pm.
