Ramona and the Holy Smokes w/ Hotpants

Ramona and the Holy Smokes bring their honky-tonk sound to Pie Shop for a high-energy, femme-fronted double bill with Richmond’s Americana rock band Hotpants. Based in Charlottesville, Ramona and the Holy Smokes blend traditional country and Western styles with the perspective of frontwoman Ramona Martinez, a Latino artist helping shape the genre.

The band’s self-produced debut album features original songs centered on heartache and resiliency. Hotpants joins them for a night featuring two favorite bands from central Virginia.
