Camila Meza, a celebrated Chilean vocalist, guitarist, and composer, brings her distinctive blend of contemporary jazz with South American, Brazilian, and pop influences to Blues Alley as part of the Chilean Jazz Series. Co‑presented with the Embassy of Chile, this show highlights Meza’s soulful vocals, virtuosic guitar work, and vivid storytelling. Praised by The New York Times for her “appealing combination of lightness and depth,” Meza has released five albums, including the 2019 Sony Music Masterworks release *Ambar*, which introduced her Nectar Orchestra collaboration with bassist and arranger Noam Wiesenberg. She has performed with artists such as Ryan Keberle, Fabian Almazan, Paquito D’Rivera, and Aaron Goldberg, and in 2018 she served as musical director for Pat Metheny’s NEA Jazz Masters induction ceremony at the Kennedy Center. In 2022, Downbeat Magazine named her the #1 Rising Star Female Vocalist. This event promises an evening of original music drawn from her expansive repertoire.

Tickets: $35 plus $7 in fees; a $15 food or beverage minimum per person is required and is not included in the ticket price. Final sale – no refunds and no transfers.
