R&B vocalist Dave Hollister brings his soulful blend of gospel, R&B, and hip-hop to the Birchmere on Thursday, August 6, 2026. A veteran singer, songwriter, and producer, Hollister first gained prominence as a member of Teddy Riley’s Blackstreet and as a featured vocalist on 2Pac’s “Brenda’s Got a Baby.” His solo career has yielded gold-certified albums such as *Ghetto Hymns* and *Chicago ’85…The Movie*, as well as top R&B singles like “My Favorite Girl” and “One Woman Man.” In recent years, Hollister has continued to tour and record, including a sold-out City Winery run and a new single with Death Row Records. He is also finalizing an album with the supergroup The Chi, alongside Carl Thomas and Syleena Johnson.
