Carmen & The Firebird

Alexandria Symphony presents a concert pairing operatic and theatrical orchestral music with a featured violin performance. Under the direction of conductor Louis Lohraseb, the program includes Wagner’s *Tannhäuser* Overture, Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with soloist Chee-Yun Kim, Bizet’s *Carmen – Entr’acte to Act III*, and Stravinsky’s *The Firebird* (1919 Suite).

The concert is presented on two dates at different Alexandria-area venues.
