Montgomery Symphony Orchestra: Fall into the Classics

The Montgomery Symphony Orchestra opens its 80th-anniversary season with a program devoted to the Classical period. The concert explores the brilliance, drama, and elegance of orchestral music through works by Antonio Salieri, Joseph Bologne, and Ludwig van Beethoven—three composers whose music helped shape the traditions of Western art music and the modern orchestra.

The program includes Salieri’s overture to *Les Danaides*, Bologne’s *Symphony No. 2 in D Major*, and Beethoven’s *Symphony No. 5 in C Minor*.
