Robin Maril — A Queer Guide to Saving American Democracy - with Charlotte Clymer — at Conn Ave
Robin Maril presents *A Queer Guide to Saving American Democracy*, a book that examines the LGBTQ legal victories of recent decades and the democratic institutions now threatened by rising authoritarianism. Maril argues that the targeting of queer and transgender people reflects a broader erosion of American democracy, and explores how queer communities can draw on authenticity, resilience, and collective joy to support transformative pro-democracy work.
Maril will discuss the book with Charlotte Clymer, a writer and activist known for her political, religious, and foreign-policy commentary. The event is open to all with first-come, first-served seating.
