In Shakespeare’s most magical romantic comedy, four young Athenians flee into a forest ruled by mischievous fairies who are intent on sowing confusion and merriment. A mysterious love potion, a befuddled group of amateur actors, and the miraculous transformation of a man into a donkey drive the plot’s wild, uproarious twists. Directed by Simon Godwin, this joyous production surrounds the acting company with eye-popping puppets directed and designed by Basil Twist (known for *My Neighbour Totoro* and *Petrushka*).
