Buffalo Traffic Jam - Pictures of You Tour
Buffalo Traffic Jam brings its folk-driven “Pictures of You Tour” to 9:30 Club, with HAFFWAY and Lydia Maes also performing. The Bozeman, Montana, band was formed by Frankie Cassidy and Nathan Ross after they met as students at Montana State University. Their music combines acoustic instrumentation, intimate storytelling, and themes of resilience, nostalgia, and self-discovery.
The group’s releases include its self-titled debut EP, the singles “Rescue Me” and “Forgot Your Roots,” and the newer *Take Me Home* EP. The latter expands Buffalo Traffic Jam’s sound while retaining its heartfelt songwriting and raw instrumental style, and had surpassed 8 million streams across digital platforms by the time of the event listing. In 2025, the band made festival appearances at Under the Big Sky and Redwest Fest and toured with singer-songwriter Dylan Gossett.
HAFFWAY is the project of producer-songwriter Sam Westhoff, whose “folkternative” sound blends cinematic folk, alternative soul, and candid storytelling. His releases include the *Prequel* EP, the *Lady Lou* collection, and the 2025 debut album *Wither*, which explores love, loss, and mental health. Westhoff has collaborated with Brent Cobb and Benjamin Francis Leftwich, toured North America with Dermot Kennedy, and written or produced for artists including Noah Kahan, Shaboozey, Dermot Kennedy, and Matt Maeson.
