Chatham County Line

Chatham County Line brings its genre-blending string-band sound to Jammin Java. Formed in Raleigh, North Carolina, more than two decades ago, the group combines bluegrass, folk, country, and rock and roll in a live style that has earned an international following.

The band has released nine critically acclaimed studio albums, topped the Billboard Bluegrass Chart four times, collaborated with artists including Judy Collins, Sharon Van Etten, and Jonas Fjeld, and shared stages with Guy Clark, Lyle Lovett, Steve Martin & Martin Short, and The Avett Brothers. Their latest album, *Hiyo*, introduces a fresh chapter following the departure of longtime banjo player. The recording features Dave Wilson on lead vocals and guitar, John Teer on fiddle and mandolin, and Greg Readling on bass and pedal steel, with expanded use of synthesizers, drum machines, electric guitar, and percussion alongside the group’s signature harmonies and string-band instrumentation.
