Crush Fund Go To Fest Tour

Crush Fund brings its Go To Fest Tour to Transmission for an energetic night of dance-punk, cowpunk, and experimental “torture music.” The bill features Brooklyn dance-punk band Crush Fund, Washington, DC’s all-trans cowpunk group thisdogllhunt, and Herndon, Virginia’s Druid Stone.

Crush Fund’s music pairs forceful, spring-loaded grooves with themes of disaster, loss, rejection, violence, and persistence. Founded in 2022 by college friends Wendy Kya and Nora Knox, the band grew from a shared interest in noisy post-punk, DIY punk culture, and feminine rage, later adding July Brown and Sean Kovacs. The group has released the EPs *Drama* and *New Fixation*, and its debut album *GO* arrived through Lonely Ghost Records. The band is also known for fostering topless mosh pits involving trans women.

thisdogllhunt draws on red dirt country, punk, and dance music. Druid Stone, from Herndon, Virginia, describes its sound as unlawful lesbian “torture music.”
