Make+Take: Stencil Pulp Paint Ornaments
Make+Take: Stencil Pulp Paint Ornaments is a beginner-friendly papermaking workshop focused on creating festive winter decorations. Participants will use pre-cut foam stencils and cookie cutters with colorful paper pulp to form designs such as gingerbread people, snowflakes, and other seasonal shapes. Finished pieces can be strung into garlands or displayed as individual ornaments. No previous experience is required, and registration includes all class materials.
The workshop is led by papermaker and artist David Joo, whose work explores the tactile qualities of paper and its roles in art, visual culture, and communication. His sculptural paper pieces and designs have appeared in galleries, resorts, and online spaces.
