GIRLS ROCK! DC AUGUST SHOWCASE

Girls Rock! DC presents its August Summer Camp showcase at Black Cat, featuring ten brand-new youth bands performing original music they created during a week-long music camp. This event celebrates the creativity and talent of young musicians who learn to play instruments, form bands, write songs, and then take the stage for a big concert. Proceeds support Girls Rock! DC’s youth music education programs, and the showcase offers an uplifting look at the next generation of rock stars.

When: Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM (doors open at 11:00 AM).

Showtimes: The event runs continuously during the door hours; specific band performance times are not listed.

Tickets: $10 for youth and $20–30 for adults, with a sliding scale. No one will be turned away at the door for lack of funds.
