Wolf's Every Monday Blues Show & Sit-In Jam

Wolf’s Every Monday Blues Show & Sit-In Jam is a longstanding Monday-night blues gathering at Hank Dietle’s Tavern, bringing together established DC-area musicians, emerging players, and unexpected guest performers. The evening combines an opening set by a rotating host band with an open-ended sit-in tradition, so the participating musicians can vary from week to week.

The event has hosted notable drop-in performers over the years, including Guitar Shorty, Bill Kirchen, Eugene “Hideaway” Bridges, Jimmy Carpenter, Memphis Gold, Bruce Ewan, Bobby Radcliff, Pierre Beauregard, Johnny Sansone, Johnny Vidacovich, and Grammy nominees Tab Benoit and Steve Riley.

Showtimes: 7:00 PM–11:00 PM, with the opening show set beginning at 7:00 PM

Tickets: Free; no cover

Lineup: The rotating host-band lineup includes Linwood Taylor on guitar and vocals, Matt Kelley on guitar and vocals, Mike Westcott on guitar, and Guy Bouchie of GXB on guitar and vocals. Andy Hamburger plays drums and Wolf Crescenze plays bass. Additional special guests may join the band.
