K-Literature Talk: A Conversation with Author Sang Young Park (In-person!)

The Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. presents an in-person conversation with acclaimed contemporary Korean author Sang Young Park. Framed around “Stories of Love, People and Our Times,” the program will explore Park’s literary career, creative development, and candid perspectives on love, relationships, loneliness, desire, human life, and contemporary Korean society.

The discussion will go beyond Park’s best-known novel, *Love in the Big City*, to consider his broader writing and recent creative work, including *The Woman Wearing a Straw Crown*, published in July 2026. Park will also select and read a passage from one of his works, after which attendees can reflect on it and share their responses directly with him.
