Hyattsville Figure Drawing Group Meetup

The Hyattsville Figure Drawing Group offers a drop-in drawing session on the third Saturday of each month, featuring a live, clothed or costumed model. The June 20, 2026 meetup runs from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Helen C. Frederick Gallery, located within the Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. Artists of all ages and skill levels are welcome to sharpen their drawing skills in a relaxed, informal setting. No registration is required, and participants should bring their own art supplies; drawing boards and chairs are provided.

When: Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (3rd Saturday session).

Where: Helen C. Frederick Gallery at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, 4318 Gallatin Street, Hyattsville, MD 20781.

Model: A live, clothed or costumed model is present. The model may be masked. Sessions consist of a series of short poses ranging from 2 to 25 minutes.

Cost: $20 per session, or $75 for a 5-session punch card, or $15 per session for Pyramid Atlantic members.

Ages: All ages welcome for this Saturday session.

What to bring: Your own art supplies (paper, pencils, charcoal, etc.). Drawing boards and chairs are provided.

Parking: Free parking is available after 6:00 PM in the rear of the building.
