Freaquinox: A Hardcore Farewell 2 Summer is a high-energy gabber and hardcore dance event presented by Transmission in Washington, D.C. The night brings together four DJs whose sets span hard dance, hardstyle, lento, hardcore, breakbeat, Jersey club, drum and bass, turbo sounds, and other percussive, experimental styles.

Blankphosphenes is known for intense sets across hard dance, hardstyle, lento, and hardcore. Maryland-based CubeNatural, who leads the rave group FLOWGEAR, combines breakbeat, Jersey club, drum and bass, and experimental sounds. DJ Land Reform, active in the D.C. electronic scene since 2019, is associated with the 140+ X Friends With Benefits collectives and is known for colorful, percussive sets drawing on overlooked records and multiple eras of dance music. D.C.-based DJ and DIY party organizer Gabberbitch69 focuses on high-energy “turbo” sounds, from old-school vinyl to contemporary hardcore.
